Quick Make-up tips for women on the go!

By Jackie Merlau// Jmerlaumakeup.com

The new school year means early mornings. If you’re like me, you’ll want to hit the snooze button to get in those extra Z’s.  How can you cut your beauty routine in half and make your morning time more manageable? Here are some quick tips for the woman on the go:

MOISTURIZE:

Always moisturize! Investing in a tinted moisturizer is one of the best ways to hydrate while giving your skin an even tone.

EYESHADOW:

An iridescent pearl eye shadow is just the trick needed to help give you a refreshed and wide-eyed look. Simply tap your pinky finger into the shadow, and press it on the inner corners of your eye. This tip instantly lights up your eyes!

MASCARA:

Swipe your lashes with one layer of your mascara, and don’t focus too much time on building up the thickness. The mascara will be just as effective. Remember, we are trying to cut our beauty routine in half. If you happen to get mascara on your skin, just get a q-tip and softly dab the mess away!

LIPSTICK:

Wearing bold lip colors is one of the best ways to make it look as if you put on a full face of makeup. Or, if you prefer, a tinted lip balm or gloss easily gives you a natural, hydrated and “no makeup” makeup look!

Still have a few minutes?

BLUSH:

A nice fluffy brush with a soft rosy blush will bring life back into your skin. A quick buff of the product on the apples of your cheeks is all you need.

EYEBROWS:

One of the quickest ways to apply color and shape to your brows is with an eyebrow brow pencil.  Using ones that twist means you don’t have to waste time sharpening the pencil.

Still not confident you can do it quickly? Take time to practice when you are NOT in a hurry. Practice makes perfect!
