Warmer weather means brighter sunrays and more attention is needed for your skin.
Sunscreen
One of the most important ways to take care of your skin is to protect it from the sun. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a SPF of at least 15. Apply sunscreen generously, and reapply every two hours or more often if you’re swimming or perspiring. When protecting your face from the sun, you can use products that contain sunscreen like good quality foundation primers and moisturizers, all containing broad spectrum sunscreen SPF. Remember to protect your lips as well with a sun care lip protector with a broad spectrum SPF 15. This prevents your lips from burns and fever blisters from the sun.
Treat your skin gently
To have healthy skin, get in a routine of cleansing your skin every day. Choose a cleanser suitable for your skin type and the areas you want to target, for example acne, anti-wrinkle, or anti-aging. Cleanse your skin and remove makeup before going to bed even if you are tired — your skin will thank you for it later.
It’s very important to use moisturizer suitable for your skin type. If you want to target your eyes, use an eye cream that is suitable for all skin types, improves firmness, brightens, and provides moisture, plus minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. You do not have moisture glands around your eyes, so you will need help with moisturizing in this area as you age.
Finally, starting now, get in a routine of cleansing your skin every day and night. You will be complimented on how good you skin looks!
