Given her packed schedule, Cantrell considers her go-to beauty routine especially important. Here are some of the must-have products she uses daily.
1. SECRET FOR CLEAN, REFRESHED SKIN
I use Complexion Renewal Pads by Zein Obagi every morning and night after washing my face, I love them and swear by them. Immediately after application, my skin feels crisp, refreshed and cleaner than ever.
2. MOISTURIZE OVERNIGHT
After doing my nighttime face routine, I apply Elemis Superfood Midnight Facial. I keep this amazing face moisturizer in my bedside table. My face tends to get dry, especially in the winter, and using this moisturizer allows my skin to remain moisturized and hydrated throughout the night.
3. LONGEST-LASTING LIP GLOSS
Being a stay-at-home mom and constantly running around doing errands, I often don’t wear makeup during the day. However, I never leave the house without Dior Lip Glow Oil Cherry Oil in Rosewood. It lasts longer than any lip gloss I’ve ever used, and there is a perfect shade for every skin tone.
4. APPLY ONCE, SMELL GREAT ALL DAY
For as long as I can remember, my favorite beauty product has been perfume. In my opinion, there is never an excuse to not smell great! My go-to perfume is Bond No. 9 TriBeCa. Applying once in the morning will leave you smelling incredible until bedtime.
5. THE BEST SERUM FOR SUN LOVERS
After applying moisturizer during my morning and evening face routines, I always apply M’Lundo Aloe Vera Face Serum. It contains a significant amount of hyaluronic acid and is great for anti-aging. I spend a ton of time in the sun, probably too much if you ask my mom, and this product is thick without being too oily — soaking into my skin better than most serums.
6. FOUNDATION THAT GIVES A NATURAL GLOW
Another makeup that I never leave home without is Clinique Even Better Glow in Honey. Foundation in general tends to look harsh and thick on my face. This foundation is the only one I have found that leaves my skin looking even. With the hot, humid South Mississippi weather, I only want something light on my skin, and this is the perfect product. It provides a light glow, contains SPF 15 and leaves you with a natural, no-makeup makeup look.
7. LEAVE-IN TREATMENT TO KEEP HAIR HYDRATED
There’s no denying I’m a girl who colors my hair often. Between coloring, salt water and lots of time in the sun, my hair is always in need of a little pick me up. I am a fan of all Aveda hair products, but my favorite is Aveda Botanical Repair Strengthening Leave-in Treatment. I use this product once a week after I have conditioned my hair in the shower, and I have found it helps tremendously with hydration and preventing dead ends.
8. ESSENTIAL PART OF MY SKIN ROUTINE
The other serum that I swear by is Dior Capture Totale Le Serum. I use this product once a day in the evening during my nighttime face routine for anti-aging. It provides plumpness to your skin while correcting fine lines and unevenness and increasing elasticity. Also, it smells fantastic, which is a bonus.
