The Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art celebrates Galentine’s Day with the annual Bubbles and Bonbons event. Flowers, cards, chocolates from Walgreens — who needs them? Bring your best gal pals to enjoy an evening of dancing, celebrating, and sampling some of the Coast’s best restaurants. Celebrate your bond with your closest friends instead of waiting by the phone.
On Friday, Feb. 7, get gussied up in your best pink and red attire and leave the men at home for a fun time at the Ohr. DJ Peauxboi will be on hand to entertain and start a conga line, and guests also can indulge in treats from delicious eateries like Ground Zero Blues Club Biloxi, By the Fig & Olive, Eat Drink Love, and many more for $40 a person.
“This is our sixth-year celebration of friendship on Galentine’s Day,” says Brenda Blount, director of development for The Ohr-O’Keefe Museum. “Because it is an all-women event, people really let their hair down. (There will be) dancing, singing, drinking — and let’s not forget our eye candy, DJ Peauxboi!”
