#StyleMe: Be a style trail-‘blazer’

It’s time to rethink the basics and revolutionize your look

Have some of your New Year’s resolutions fallen by the wayside? Most do by February, but I hope your style goals haven’t. Revolutionize your look this year by trying something new, wearing a color you haven’t in the past or repurposing a basic in your closet.

Take a blazer, for example. Traditionally, it is considered workwear and part of a suit. Rethink its use by wearing it over shorts. To modernize this outfit, opt for sheer tights and knee boots (You may have seen this look on social media). You also can update your skinny jeans by wearing them with a button-up shirt, blazer and over-the-knee boots. This ensemble also works with leggings. Oversized blazers are especially trendy. Now you can be a trail-“blazer” with a fresh take on a trusted classic.

Blazers aren’t just for the office. Wear them with shorts, leggings and skinny jeans.
