BEFORE MY TRANSFORMATION
I decided to embrace a healthier lifestyle because I wanted to live. I had been diagnosed with high blood pressure and diabetes (no longer have either).
WHAT I DID
I started exercising upon the insistence of my physician. He told me that if I wanted to live to see 40, I had to lose weight. I changed my eating habits and started to work out.
MY GOAL
My goal was to become a healthier me. I needed to lose over 100 pounds.
HOW IT WORKED
Within six months, I had lost over 50 pounds. Then after training with my brother for over a year, I started the “Do Better Divas” program to bring others along on my journey.
HOW I FEEL ABOUT MYSELF TODAY
I am proud of my accomplishments. It’s a neverending battle. I’m still on a health journey.
MY ADVICE TO OTHERS
You have to believe in yourself! I truly believe that God wants us to live our best lives. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us!
